Find a Care Coordinator.com was born of the need for people to find a new care coordinator quickly and simply.   Alaska SDS publishes a list of all the Care Coordinators in the state, but there is no capacity information.  This means that if you're going to find a care coordinator with their information you're going to be on the phone for hours.  (and hours, and even more hours) 

A busy Care Coordinator most likely will not have time to call you back on the same day and many won't call you back for a couple of days.  The listings we have are from Care Coordinators that have pledged to call you back within 24 hours (or the next business day) and respond.  Every one of them has at least one opening on their caseload, so you won't be wasting your time on the phone only to hear "No, sorry I'm pretty booked, but here's a number of someone..."   You follow that up with a call the the number you've been given and then you hear "No, sorry....".

That won't happen here, in fact if you call one of the care coordinators listed on our site and you are told "no, sorry I don't have the room" if you'll email us and let us know we'll either take them off the site or we'll have the next new listing call you even before they're listed on the site. 

Because we know that not everybody has a simple situation and sometimes needs some special attention we'll respond to your emails and attempt to answer your questions or concerns.  If the situation suggests that a phone call would work better...
